Apple Vision Pro has made a big splash since it went on sale. The glasses, which are used for different purposes from watching movies to using Office programs, may finally gain Steam VR support . This suggests that many games will come to Vision Pro.
iVRy is developing a SteamVR application for Vision Pro
A new app developed by third-party studio iVRy may support streaming games from the SteamVR platform. This may open the door to a brand new gaming experience in Apple’s first mixed reality glasses.
iVRy announced that it is working on a SteamVR application designed specifically for Vision Pro . Although the app has already been released on Steam, it is not yet available for Vision Pro.
Thanks to this application, Vision Pro owners will gain access to hundreds of games offered on SteamVR. Leveraging the SteamVR API , iVRy’s application will bring games produced for glasses such as Meta Quest and HTC Vive to Vision Pro.
However, the fact that Vision Pro does not have any motion controller poses a challenge. iVRy stated that it is considering supporting third-party controllers from companies like Meta as a workaround. The developer said that he will continue such solutions until any accessories arrive from Apple.
There is no information about the release date of the iVRy application. On the other hand, it is unclear how to bring games supported on the SteamVR platform to Vision Pro. However, this move may start a new experience in Apple glasses.
